SBP issues over Rs23 bln T-Bills

KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Friday mopped up Rs23.70 billion at 6.4 per cent interest for one day by issuing treasury bills.

The SBP performed the open market operation to absorb excess liquidity from the banking system.
