Akhtar Hussain & Associates is the largest firm of Advocates in Pakistan, with fully operational offices in Karachi and other cities. The Firm specializes in Civil Law, with particular emphasis on corporate and company law, privatization, infrastructure projects, construction laws, banking, insurance and financial law, energy (petroleum, gas and electrical power) law, commercial contracts, foreign investment laws, information technology and computer law, mergers and acquisitions, maritime and aviation law and charities and NGO laws. The Firm handles arbitration matters (both domestic and international) as well as civil litigation in the High Court and the Supreme Court of Pakistan.



The main office of the Firm is based in Karachi, which is the commercial centre of Pakistan. This enables the Firm to effectively represent its Clients in negotiation with the Government of Pakistan and with regulatory agencies and to serve a large client base in the Province of Punjab and the North West Frontier Province.
